The best cities in the world

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Although the answer likely varies (khác biệt) from person to person, there are several universal factors (nhân tố chung) that manle any spot (địa điểm) a great place to live. To get a sense (Để nắm được) of the best places to call home, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU: Đơn vị Tình báo Kinh tế) assembles (thu thập) annual (hàng năm) rankings (đánh giá) of 140 major cities worldwide based on (dựa vào) which have the most ideal (lý tưởng) living conditions.

The rankings are based on 30 qualitative and quantitative (định tính và định lượng) factors across five categories (lĩnh vực): stability (độ ổn định), health care (chăm sóc sức khoẻ), culture/environment, education and infrastructure (hạ tầng). The EIU found that for most cities, livability (mức sống) has been unaffected (không bị ảnh hưởng) by the recession (cuộc suy thoái), as (vì) most factors (such as infrastructure and crime levels) have not shifted (thay đổi).
